Welcome, all! I'm Quinn Augusta Fish and I'm a Brooklyn-Based writer, editor and social media specialist with passions for content strategy, lifestyle media, and accessibility. I grew up in the East San Francisco Bay Area (go Dubs!) and graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in June of 2019 with degrees in Journalism and Comparative Ethnic Studies, where I served as Mustang News' (award-winning) managing editor. I've always dreamt of becoming an editor of a culture- or wellness-focused media outlet in NYC and I'm excited about new freelancing opportunities that mesh well with my passions. Oh, and can you tell I'm a Virgo?
I'm especially excited about emerging forms of media, (check out my weekly newsletter, Dear Twenty-Somethings!), specifically those making social change in the digital space. My simple pleasures include yoga, cooking, scrolling Twitter, hiking, outdoor dining, film photography, snowboarding and reading at the park. This site should give you a deeper look into my achievements, interests, experiences and work ethic. Navigate the site using the tabs at the top and explore my writing, multimedia journalism, design work, film flicks and more. Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or suggestions! I'm best reached via Twitter DMs, LinkedIn or via my Contact page.
